Jose Martinez’s story is a true testament to the American Dream. Jose immigrated to Central Florida from the Dominican Republic, by way of New York.  He lost his parents at an early age but never allowed his circumstances to limit his dreams.

 

Like many immigrants, Jose is guided by his faith, family, and self-reliance. He worked hard at his education, ultimately earning a degree in business administration and finance from the University of Central Florida. 

 

While in college, Jose met his wife, Susana. They married shortly after graduating and began building a family and a business together.

 

For the last 20 years, Jose Martinez has been building Elite Metro Corp, a successful Metro by T-Mobile authorized dealer, alongside his brother. Their company has grown exponentially, generating over $100 million in revenue across 140+ locations because of the hard work and dedication of the Martinez brothers and their 500+ employees.

 

Jose recognizes the unique opportunity afforded to him as an American and a proud Floridian.  That’s why, despite their nationwide growth, Jose chose to keep his company headquarters in St. Cloud.  He is focused on making sure that the same opportunity exists for future generations that are bold enough dream big and set those dreams loose in Florida.

 

The Martinez family recognizes the vital role the Osceola County community has played in their success. Jose, Susana, and their children are members of Cita con la Vida Church in St. Cloud. The Martinez family enjoys running, paintballing, and playing sports outdoors together.
